My name is Kate, I am 21 years old, and I live in New York City. I created this blog during high school because I wanted to find my creative voice — I’ve changed a lot since growing up in a suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota, grown in ways of which I never would’ve expected. I’ve always felt a duality between my passions of politics and fashion, now pursuing a politics and law Bachelor’s Degree at NYU.
I have written for Man Repeller, interned at Maryam Nassir Zadeh, the National Organization for Women, worked for Outdoor Voices and CAP Beauty, and collaborated as a brand representative for companies like Glossier, Urban Outfitters, Mejuri, Golde, Ritual, etc.
I’m currently working on applying to law school, working as a research assistant to help build Supersystem: a government tech platform to make .gov sites more accessible. (I’ve seriously been so blessed to help support the vision of the Founder/CEO Morgan Von Steen, who was formerly working at Glossier.
I am always open to collaborate and can be reached at email@example.com!
The content is geared for any woman who desires to see past the frivioulous characteristics associated with women in fashion by shedding a light on larger societal issues with respect to women’s rights, environmentalism, social justice, and more.
